Description
Responsible for overseeing all initiatives that the council conducts as well as being a liaison between Brock University, the Sport Management department, the Niagara Region, and the council. Duties include facilitating weekly team meetings; executing council enrichment activities; planning initiatives to engage the Brock Sport Management department and Niagara community; completing risk management requirements for all events and initiatives; and developing sponsorship and social media campaigns.

Hamilton Tiger-Cats Networking Event
For the Tiger-Cats home game on October 4th, we organized a sold-out trip to Tim Hortons Field for 55 students to tour the stadium and Canadian Football Hall of Fame, engage in a panel discussion with Tiger-Cats Staff, watch warm-ups on the sidelines, and hold the Canadian flag pre-game while enjoying a great night of Friday Night Football.




Speaker Series Networking Event
During this event, we welcomed students from all four years of the sports management program to network and learn valuable insights from our special guest speakers, interact with their peers, and win prizes provided by our gracious sponsors. Together, my team and I made council history with this event, increasing attendance by 281% over the previous year.
Community Outreach Coordinator

Description
Responsible for both connecting and engaging with internal and external stakeholders to create community engagement opportunities for council members and the entire Sport Management department. Duties include coordinating local community engagement and council events; connecting with local organizations to establish community involvement opportunities; enchanting the image and reputation of the Brock Sport Management Council.

Director of Sales and Marketing

Description
Responsible for promoting and encouraging purchase behaviour towards the events and initiatives of the Brock Sport Management Council. Duties include planning, implementing, and communicating sales and marketing strategies; collaborating to successfully execute sales and marketing campaigns; responding to questions and concerns; communicating and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders.

SPMA Merchandise
Tasked with implementing and running Brock Sport Management Council merchandise, 2022 was one of the most successful merchandise releases in recent years.
- 240% Increase in Profit
- 296% Increase in Items Sold
From meeting with various suppliers and comparing different clothing options, I was able to develop a merchandise line from the ground up.

In addition to creating the merchandise line, I was responsible for promoting and encouraging purchase behaviour among Brock Sport Management students, alumni, and faculty. Marketing strategies included social media posts and interactive stories, email newsletters, posters, and in-person announcements.
