Niagara 2022 Canada Summer Games

Description

One of the 90 staff members that worked during the Niagara 2022 Canada Summer Games. I was recognized and given the opportunity to be the only Games-time Assistant for Transportation based on my volunteer involvement in the Games as a Transportation Lead.

Responsible for supporting Games operations within Transportation during the 2022 Niagara Canada Summer Games. Duties include providing information, answering questions, and resolving issues for external audiences; administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing, and data entry; and assisting with the commissioning and decommissioning of venue sites.

Description

Responsible for the overall planning and operations of activities related to participant transportation at Youngs Sportsplex during the Niagara 2022 Summer Games. The Youngs Sportsplex in Welland is hosting men’s and women’s soccer, requiring me to manage traffic, plan parking and loading/unloading of buses, and respond to schedule changes when necessary.
